Meet David Kloiber

A dedicated public servant, job creator, and proud parent, David Kloiber has always placed a strong focus on community and family. Growing up in Lexington, David attended Lexington Catholic High School and the University of Kentucky before setting off into the wider world to start his own software company. For years he built up new businesses around the country but when he decided to settle down he knew there was no better place to raise his own children than right here in Central Kentucky.

Throughout his career, David has helped create hundreds of good-paying jobs in the industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors—supporting both economic growth and working families. Whether it’s revitalizing local economies or advocating for small businesses, David has shown time and time again that he is willing to roll up his sleeves to get things done.

As a proud parent of two children in public school, David knows firsthand how important strong public education is to the future of our communities. That personal experience has shaped his commitment to investing in schools, teachers, and students, and has driven him to partner closely with nonprofits and community leaders across the region to build coalitions that deliver impactful outcomes for our children.

Elected to the Lexington City Council in 2020, his commitment to equitable opportunity and practical problem-solving is rooted in everyday experience—as an entrepreneur, a community leader, and a parent.

Now, David is ready to bring that same energy and focus to Congress—to fight for common sense Kentucky values, grow our economy, and make sure every family has a voice in Washington.
